OSHA’s adoption of the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) has changed the labeling requirements for stationary storage tanks for cryogenic liquid products such as nitrogen, oxygen, argon and others. The tanks are now required to display a GHS warning label with hazard classification, pictogram, and warning phrases. It is the responsibility of the facility to ensure these labels are displayed on the storage tanks. Air Products has arranged with Label Solutions Inc. to have labels for cryogenic liquids, that meet the GHS requirements, available for your labeling needs.
The Label Solutions’ brochure provides contact and ordering information for these GHS labels.
